Note that even after uninstalling the application, a few harmless application settings will be left on the device. Although these settings will not impact your device, you can follow these steps to fully remove them:

  1. Open “Settings” and select “Security”.
  2. Tap “Trusted Credentials”.
  3. Tap “User”.
  4. Remove the “Luth Research, LLC certificate”.

iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  • Hold your finger on the “Savvyconnect” application icon until the icons on your screen begin to shake.
  • Tap the “X” in the upper left hand corner of the SavvyConnect application icon. Confirm by tapping “Delete”.

If your version of SavvyConnect is 2.7 or above, no further action is needed. If your version is 2.6 or below, please continue with the steps below.

  • Tap the “Settings” icon.
  • Tap “General” and then “Profiles & Device Management”.
  • Tap the right arrow next to the “SavvyConnect Mobile” profile.
  • Tap “Delete Profile”.
  • Tap “Delete” again to confirm removal of the SavvyConnect profile.

Once the SavvyConnect profiles are deleted, the VPN symbol will be removed from the status bar and the application icon will be removed from the home screen.

Important: Don’t remove the SavvyConnect Mobile profile before removing the SavvyConnect mobile app or you will begin receiving error messages related to “server identity warnings.” If you encounter these errors, you will lose internet connectivity until the app is fully removed.
